Nigerian civil society organization, NO SIDON LOOK has hinted of their plans for the second quarter of the year 2021 in Cross River State.
The information was given at the organization’s Calabar office, announcing an assessment tour of Local Government Areas (LGA) in Cross River State as the next initiative from their stables.
The Director General of the organisation, Mr. Portrait Peterson, who gave the hint on Monday, April 26, 2021 stated that come May 2021, the group will embark on a tour of the 18 LGAs in Cross River State to have first hand experience of the strides of the council’s administration one year after assuming office.
Mr Peterson said his team is set to evaluate the performance of the council chairmen in relation to the core functions of local government, which includes education; public health, town planning, roads and transport, and waste disposal, understanding that council heads have a role to play as disciples driving the vision of the governor, Sir Ben Ayade at the grassroots.
It could be recalled that the CSO,NO SIDON LOOK was at the frontline of the last governorship election in Edo state, with their sensitization of the people on the need to use their voting powers to elect a visionary leader for the state and break the yoke of godfatherism.
