APC RALLY BERTHS AT CALABAR MUNICIPAL COUNCIL
The ongoing All Progressive Congress (APC) rally across Cross River State stormed the state capital for their turn to host a convention of party faithfuls who moved with His Excellency, Governor Ben Ayade to his new party, the APC.
The rally was held on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at the Calabar Municipal LGA council ground on Marian road.
The governor, who was represented by the speaker of Cross River State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Eteng Jones Williams was received by a mammoth crowd, hosted by the mayor of Calabar, Elder High Chief Hon. Efefiong Nta Eke and backed by indigenes of the area who occupy key positions in government, comprising of the Commissioner for Culture & Tourism, Hon. Eric Anderson, his counterpart in the ministry of urban renewal, Hon. Emmanuel Eyuwa, the Director General of Cross River State Electrification Agency, Mr Stanley Nsemo, the Chairman, Greater Calabar Development Authority, Mr Bassey Effiom and the Special Assistant to Governor on Entertainment, Mr Effiom ‘Trombone’ Bassey amongst others.
In their separate remarks, the mayor and other speakers took turns to appreciate Prof Ayade for his thoughtfulness of youth inclusiveness in government and assured him of their unalloyed loyalty come 2023 and beyond.
